Our Centre Director, Prof Lidia Morawska will be travelling to New York to speak in a side event held at the United Nations General Assembly next week, alongside our collaborators who will also be giving distinguished presentations.

This event is titled Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action and will:
🫶 Highlight the critical importance of healthy indoor air quality.
👉 Showcase best practices and scientific innovation.
⭐️ Improve global awareness, inspire global collaboration, foster new networks and unlock novel opportunities.
✒️ Include the launch and signing of the Global Pledge for Healthy Indoor Air.

In addition, Prof Lidia Morawska, is named co-chair of the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air, an initiative led by the International WELL Building Institute to combat the worldwide indoor air crisis which will be launched at this event.

As co-chair, Prof Morawska will help lead the Commission in advancing a Global Framework for Action and catalysing the development of national blueprints to strengthen indoor air quality efforts around the world. The Commission’s Global Framework for Action will be released by the end of 2026, alongside National Blueprints published on a rolling basis.
