Francine Manansala, President of CASANZ (Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand), opened the Clean Indoor Air for ALL Conference on Monday, by reaffirming why IAQ is a growing priority for CASANZ and how collaboration across research, science, policy, and industry is essential to achieving healthier, safer environments for everyone.

The day then progressed with the launch the ‘State of Indoor Air in Australia 2025’ report by D/Prof Lidia Morawska and A/Prof Wendy Miller.

At the welcome in the evening, the day ended with a fireside chat, sharing highlights and reflections from ‘Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action’, the inaugural high-level side event on healthy indoor air, which took place at UN Headquarters last month. This fireside chat was facilitated by Dr Bronwyn King AO, and included Plum (Victoria) Stone, Jason Monty, Rebecca Bentley, Lidia Morawska, Christhina Candido, and Anna-Maria Arabia.
