📘Another great collaboration with D/Prof Lidia Morawska, Prof Amanda Kennedy and the Thrive IAQ team. Our chapter ‘Clearing the Air: Navigating Regulatory Frameworks for Indoor Air Quality Control‘ has recently been published in a book “Air Pollution and the Brain”.

In this chapter, we explore how law and policy can better protect people from the often-overlooked health risks of indoor air pollution. While poor indoor air quality is increasingly recognised as a major public health issue, regulatory responses remain fragmented and inconsistent. Our chapter unpacks this complex landscape, and highlights novel approaches from several jurisdictions who are experimenting with various regulatory and non-regulatory initiatives. We argue that stronger IAQ governance requires integrated, evidence-informed and cross-sectoral approaches.
