Dr Alex Mikszewski, PhD graduate of Thrive’s ARC Linkage Project “Making Australia resilient to airborne infection transmission” completed his degree at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2024. His PhD thesis is titled, “Quantitative Risk Assessment for Airborne Transmission of Disease”.
On 22 May 2025, he received the QUT Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award for 2024.
