The MIST Project (MItigation STrategies for Airborne Infection Control) is a multidisciplinary programme focused on reducing the risk of airborne virus transmission in shared indoor environments. By combining scientific research, technical innovation, and stakeholder engagement, MIST aims to develop practical, evidence-based solutions for healthier, more resilient indoor spaces.
This year’s MIST Project event was hosted by Delft University of Technology on 2 June 2025, where leading experts gathered to shape the future of healthy indoor environments. Among the distinguished speakers was our Centre Director Distinguished Professor Lidia Morawska, who emphasized the critical role of equivalent ventilation including GUV (germicidal UV) technologies, as essential supplements in inadequately ventilated spaces. A great step forward for healthy air in schools, offices, healthcare, and public spaces! For more information about this year’s event.
